Buyer Policy
This policy outlines the standards and obligations for all buyers on the VX Auction platform. Our goal is to ensure a fair bidding environment for everyone.
Buyer Standards
4.1 Placing Bids
- All bids placed on VX Auction are legally binding commitments to purchase.
- Once a bid is placed, it cannot be retracted unless the Bid Retraction feature is enabled and you are within the permitted retraction window.
- You may only bid on lots that are in Live status.
- To place bids, your profile must be complete (phone number and address required).
4.2 Winning a Lot
When you win a lot (either by having the highest bid at auction close or by using Buy Now):
- You will receive a payment request via email and SMS.
- You are obligated to complete payment within the deadline specified in the payment request.
- Failure to pay within the deadline constitutes a violation of the Buyer–Seller Agreement and may result in your account being suspended.
4.3 Payment Extensions
If you are unable to pay by the original deadline, you may request a payment extension via the link in your payment email (no login required). Extensions are subject to platform configuration and may incur a daily penalty fee if your committed date is exceeded.
4.4 Delivery & Confirmation
- Once a seller marks your item as dispatched, you will receive a notification with delivery details.
- You are required to confirm delivery once you have received your item using the confirmation link sent to you.
- Prompt confirmation credits the seller's account and closes the transaction.
4.5 Bid Eligibility
Depending on platform settings, the following restrictions may apply:
- Active membership required: You may need an active membership to place bids.
- Outstanding payment restriction: If you have an unpaid lot, you may be blocked from placing new bids until the outstanding payment is resolved.
4.6 Disputes
If you receive an item that does not match its listing description, please open a support ticket immediately. Do not refuse delivery without contacting support first.
